Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field; OR Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
• Pass required background checks and obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities.
• Show strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction.
• Demonstrate collaboration, initiative, and adaptability in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned mathematics instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks.
• Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.
• Use assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong mathematical foundations.
• Participate in weekly professional development and PLCs; collaborate with colleagues and instructional leaders.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals; lead parent-teacher conferences.
• Implement PBIS and create a structured, positive classroom environment.
