Capital City Public Charter School is seeking experienced teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The role emphasizes inclusion, co-teaching, and differentiation to support ELs and students with disabilities.

Teachers design dynamic curricula with autonomy and collaboration, supported by instructional coaches and leaders. Positions are 10-month, exempt, and focus on building equity, professional growth, and an innovative classroom culture.

Formación

• Master’s degree and 2+ years of full-time teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least one of the following: DC teaching license in special education or EL licensure, or equivalent credentials.
• Experience working in urban environments with diverse populations.
• Strong knowledge of pedagogy and inclusive teaching practices.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver instruction to English Learners (ELs) and students with disabilities using UDL and inclusion practices.
• Collaborate with general education teachers through co-teaching and joint planning.
• Develop and revise criteria and standards for quality work and student portfolios.
• Plan exhibitions of student work and ensure accessible learning experiences for all students.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and adapt practices to meet individual needs.
