Job summary

Capital City is seeking an experienced Self-Contained Special Education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will deliver instruction to identified students with IEPs and ELs, collaborating with general education staff to differentiate and personalize learning using UDL and Explicit Instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or equivalent required.
• Certification in Special Education and district licensure required.
• Experience in self-contained classroom settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to students with IEPs and ELs using UDL and Explicit Instruction.
• Collaborate with general education staff to develop differentiated, standards-aligned lessons.
• Plan exhibitions of student work and maintain accurate progress documentation.

Education
