Middle School Dean of Students
Principal
Overall student management and addressing student attendance issues. Other responsibilities include managing student behavior, interventions, and related processes.
Experience: Minimum of three years of successful teaching or relevant experience with increasing responsibilities in a school setting.
Attendance: Regular attendance is essential to fulfill job responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Ability to manage students and programs, communicate effectively, and problem-solve. Knowledge of discipline procedures, education code, and district policies. Ability to sit for extended periods, provide direction, make independent judgments, maintain accurate records, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Physical abilities include reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Licenses and Certifications: Teacher certification for grades 6-8 or Counseling K-12; current or in-progress Administrative Certification for K-8.
This position will be paid according to the Teacher's Salary Schedule.
