Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn is seeking a Middle School Dean of Culture to lead PBIS and culture initiatives, ensuring a positive and inclusive school climate for grades 6-12.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with department chairs and counselors, and drive data-informed strategies to support student growth and socio-emotional development, while upholding high expectations and equity.

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years in a leadership role
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to lead adults and teams with high expectations
• Commitment to equity and community
• Professionalism and reliability under pressure
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred

Responsabilidades

• Leading and managing school-wide PBIS and ensuring alignment with the disciplinary handbook
• Setting and achieving annual culture and discipline goals using data
• Overseeing PBIS in common spaces (arrival, dismissal, transitions, restrooms, lunch, events)
• Supporting, training, and holding teachers accountable for PBIS
• Collaborating with department chairs and counselors to manage student discipline at Tiers II and III
• Reporting to the Principal to ensure seamless execution of culture initiatives
