Unity Preparatory Charter School of Brooklyn is seeking a Middle School Dean of Culture to lead PBIS and school-wide culture initiatives across grades 6-12. You will partner with teachers, counselors, and administrators to build a positive, equitable environment that supports student growth.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a leadership role, strong communication skills, and a commitment to professional growth. This is a full-time role in a community-focused NYC setting.

Qualifications

• Lead PBIS and culture initiatives for a middle/high school.
• Set and monitor annual culture goals using data.
• Collaborate with leaders, teachers, counselors and families.
• Demonstrate professionalism and equity-focused leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage PBIS school-wide; align with handbook and guidelines.
• Set annual culture goals; use data to drive initiatives and improve behavior.
• Oversee PBIS in common spaces for consistency across the school.
• Support, train, and hold teachers accountable for PBIS.
• Collaborate with chairs and counselors on Tier II/III discipline; communicate with families; maintain records.
• Report to the Principal to ensure seamless culture initiatives.
