The coach will plan practices, lead games, run JV tryouts, and communicate weekly with parents, while modeling Biblical values and a strong work ethic in a supportive school community.

Job description

TCA is looking for a dedicated coach and Christ follower to be a Middle School Boys Soccer Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is from November 2, 2026-January 30, 2027. TCA’s Athletic Department utilizes sports and competition to teach transformational, life-giving biblical truths to each student-athlete. As a coach at TCA you will not only help student athletes improve their athletic ability, you will remind them of the importance of academics, instill a Christian work ethic (Col. 3:23) and help strengthen their faith in Christ.

General Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and attend Middle School Boys Soccer practices during the regular season
• Document and plan weekly Biblical character lessons
• Attend all Middle School Boys Soccer games
• Responsible for soccer tryouts for Middle School boys
• Organize and run parent meetings
• Communicate with parents on a weekly basis (scheduling, updates etc.)
• Ability to motivate and improve performance of athletes
• Demonstrate the fruits of the spirit (Gal. 5:22-23) in daily work, and interactions with students and colleagues

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, jump and run
• Normal physical demands of coaching
• Night and weekend hours required
