Responsibilities

• Plan, attend and organize off season and regular season practices (mix between AM/PM).
• Plan warm-up, conditioning, tennis drills for practice.
• Coordinate with Varsity Tennis Coach on developmental plan for players.
• Attend pep rally when Upper School tennis team is recognized.
• Document and plan weekly character lessons with Team Chaplain.
• Attend all JV tennis matches.
• Assist with tennis uniforms ordering.
• Assist with tennis tryouts for Upper School tennis teams (Fall).
• Organize and run parent meetings.
• Communicate with parents on a weekly basis (scheduling, updates).
• Ability to motivate and improve performance of athletes.

TCA is looking for aJunior Varsity Tennis Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will start in January 2027 and run through April 2027. TCA’s Athletic Department utilizes sports and competition to teach transformational, life-giving biblical truths to each student-athlete. As a head coach you will not only help student athletes improve their tennis skills, you will remind them of the importance of academics, instill a Christian work ethic (Col. 3:23) and help strengthen their faith in Christ.
