  • Encourages, trains, and coaches the participants within the program.
  • Helps organize practice sessions.
  • Represents The Cambridge School of Dallas and the Soccer and athletic program in a professional manner and within the bounds of good sportsmanship.
  • Possesses Volleyball/coaching experience.
  • Enjoys coaching and working with children.
  • Has reliable transportation and can comply with the Cambridge Fleet Policy which includes a valid driver’s license, valid proof of insurance, and participation in driver safety training provided by the school.
  • Possesses a positive attitude and can share a passion of Volleyball and Christ with students!
  • Maintains a strong commitment to the student-athlete concept.
  • Displays effective leadership, coaching and communication skills.
  • Maintains good communication skills with players, parents, and the athletic department, potentially utilizing Blackbaud as a means of communication among other technologies.
  • Part-time; early Fall/Winter season; M-F with occasional Saturday.
  • On & off-Campus responsibilities.
  • Predominant practices at either 3:00PM or 5:00PM and games between 4:00PM until 7:00PM. Coaching responsibilities may result inextended weekday/weekend commitments for games, including travel.
  • Requires frequent activities requiring physical exertion, including but not limited to standing, kneeling, crouching, bending, exercising, and driving.

Position Title: Middle School Soccer Coach Department: Athletics
Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
Reports To: Athletic Director/Varsity Soccer Coach
Position Summary:

The Middle School Soccer Coach is responsible for creating and supporting various aspects of the Volleyball program, such as program development, training, and coaching team members. The coach is required to abide by the rules and regulations established by The Cambridge School of Dallas. Cambridge is a member of theTEXAS ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE AND PAROCHIAL SCHOOLSConference (TAPPS).

Job Duties:

Minimum Educational Background:

High School Diploma; must be 18 years of age or older.
