Job summary

UCFS Healthcare in Norwich, CT is seeking a highly motivated Behavioral Health Clinician to provide school-based mental health services for middle school students. The role operates 8:00am - 2:45pm, 52 weeks per year, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday.

The position requires a Master’s degree and CT state licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC), plus 4 years of experience with children/adolescents in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field.
• 4 years of experience treating children/adolescents with behavioral/emotional challenges.
• CT State Licensure - LCSW, LMFT, or LPC

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments and client-centered mental health treatment.
• Monitor progress with short- and long-term goals.
• Maintain timely documentation and compliance with agency standards.
• Assess risk and determine appropriate level of care, including crisis cases.
• Coordinate services with school personnel and external agencies
