KIPP Capital Region is seeking a Middle School Athletic Coordinator to oversee athletic programs across Albany and Troy, NY. You will collaborate with school leadership and coaches to schedule practices, games, and events, while ensuring equipment and facilities readiness.

The role requires a valid NYSPHSAA coaching certification (or willingness to obtain), First Aid/CPR/AED, and experience with students in urban school settings. Flexibility for after-hours events is essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Education, Sports Management, or Kinesiology preferred.
• Previous athletic program coordination or coaching experience at K-12, collegiate, or community level is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule outside regular hours is required.
• Valid NYSPHSAA coaching certification, First Aid, CPR, and AED or willingness to obtain certification on hire.
• Experience working with students in charter, private, or public schools is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with School Leadership Teams and coaches to manage athletic programs, including scheduling practices, games, and events.
• Ensure availability and maintenance of athletic equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate facility use with the operations team and support event logistics (transportation, crowd control, officials).
• Ensure compliance with NYS and local athletic association rules and safety standards; maintain eligibility records.
