Responsibilities

• Build trusting, affirming relationships with students, families, and teammates.
• Support teachers in implementing strategies for classroom culture and positive behavior incentives.
• De-escalate student behaviors using a variety of strategies.
• Teach designed curriculum in math and reading for small and whole groups.
• Cover classes during weekly grade level meetings and monitor student data.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development, and planning/feedback sessions.
• Meet weekly with lead teacher and grade level chair to discuss weekly objectives.
• Fulfill school duties (attendance, transitions, events) and professional standards.
