Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced Middle Market Manager in Linwood, NJ for a hybrid role with 3–4 days in the office. You will lead marketing and placement of middle-market accounts, coordinating with Account Executives and service teams to present competitive terms to clients.

The ideal candidate has 4–5+ years of commercial insurance experience, strong carrier relationships, and a NJ Property & Casualty license. Proficiency with AMS360 (Applied Epic helpful) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Market new and renewal middle-market commercial accounts to appropriate insurance carriers.
• Review account information, exposure data, applications, and loss history, and coordinate complete submissions with Account Executives and service teams.
• Send submissions to carriers and follow up on quotes and underwriting questions.
• Compare coverage, pricing, deductibles, exclusions, limits, and terms.
• Negotiate with underwriters to secure suitable coverage and competitive terms.
• Prepare quote comparisons and placement recommendations for Account Executives and clients.
• Build carrier relationships and develop a strong understanding of which markets fit particular risks.
• Coordinate new-business and renewal deadlines.

About the Role

Our client, a commercial insurance company in Linwood, NJ, is looking for an experienced Middle Market Manager to lead the marketing and placement of new and renewal middle-market accounts. You'll work closely with Account Executives and service teams to match complex risks with the right carriers, negotiate competitive terms, and deliver clear recommendations to clients. What You Bring

Required

• 4–5+ years of commercial insurance marketing and placement experience
• Strong middle-market commercial coverage knowledge
• Proven carrier relationship management and underwriting negotiation skills
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate quote comparisons
• Active NJ Property & Casualty license
• Experience with insurance carrier platforms and agency management systems, specifically AMS360 (some Applied Epic use)
