The Teaching Family Association seeks a Focus Classroom Teacher / Practitioner to provide structured behavioral, academic, and skill-based support for middle and high school students facing disciplinary infractions.

In this role you will apply replacement skills, reinforce accountability, and collaborate with school staff to ensure consistent growth and meaningful opportunities for change within the Teaching-Family Model framework.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a structured, consistent, teaching-based environment with clear expectations.
• Support middle and high school students assigned to Focus Classroom due to disciplinary infractions.
• Respond to behavior using Teaching-Family Model strategies, focusing on skill-building.
• Support interventions used in the main building and assist when needed.
• Develop, oversee, and supervise a service-project program.
• Complete Teaching-Family Model training and ongoing professional development.
