RESA Power is seeking a Field Tech to perform medium voltage cable termination and splicing at customer sites. You will install, test, and terminate MV shielded cables (5kV–35kV), ensure secure connections, and complete detailed test reports while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires travel away from home for multi-day assignments, strong problem solving, and teamwork to support field operations across locations in the US.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required with at least 1 year in a related field.
• Experience in cable termination and splicing is required.
• Ability to use specialized tools for splicing and termination.
• Knowledge of OSHA and industry standards (NETA, IEEE, NFPA) is desired.
• Strong problem solving, data entry and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform splicing and termination of shielded MV cables using various technologies.
• Ensure secure connections and perform electrical testing per standards.
• Maintain quality, complete test reports, and document work per timelines.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and possibly weld or paint as assigned.
• Travel to customer sites and work away from home location for extended periods.
• Maintain safety, organize work area, and communicate with management and customers.
