RESA Power is seeking a Field Tech to install, splice, and terminate medium voltage shielded cable systems (5KV to 35KV) in the Charlotte, NC area and beyond. The role supports field operations and customer orders with duties spanning testing, documentation, and collaboration with management and customers.

You will work away from home for multi-day assignments, maintain quality and safety standards, and contribute to operational improvements while building strong client relationships.

Formación

• High School diploma/GED and 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in cable termination and splicing required.
• Knowledge of OSHA and industry standards (NETA/IEEE/NFPA).
• Able to communicate effectively and work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Splice and terminate shielded MV power cables using tape, connectors, heat/cold shrink.
• Ensure secure connections for reliable electrical systems.
• Test spliced cables to verify functionality and standards.
• Maintain documentation and complete test reports on time.
• Travel for days/weeks away from home as assigned.
• Work with a team to meet customer needs and project goals.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures.
