Job summary

FHLB Des Moines is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment in Houston, TX. You will oversee receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, load checking, loading and shipping while ensuring safety, accuracy, and customer service standards.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a distribution center, familiarity with RF devices and WMS systems, and a strong commitment to OSHA compliance and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years equivalent education/work experience in a distribution center.
• 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience in a redistribution/distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage performance through motivation, delegation, development and mentoring.
• Conduct staff meetings and participate in hiring, training and evaluations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety policies and housekeeping.
