A leading company in metal fabrication is seeking a Calibration Technician to ensure the health of the Calibration System. Responsibilities include calibrating production gauges, managing the calibration system, and supporting the Quality Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and communication skills, with a high school diploma or GED required.

Job Description:Under the leadership of the Quality Manager, the primary role of a Calibration Technician is to ensure the overall health of the Calibration System. A Calibration Technician will ensure that all gauges used for production purposes are calibrated, in the calibration system and not past due for calibration all while making sure to support the day to day needs of Quality Teammates and the overall Quality Department. The right candidate must be considered actively engaged and embrace United Alloy’s Character and Culture vision.
Shift: Mid Shift; Monday - Thursday. Mandatory overtime on Fridays when needed, voluntary overtime on Saturday when needed.
Reports To: Quality Manager

Work Environment: Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment that may have high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil, and grease. Ability to work in an environment that may be either hot, cold, or humid.
