Job Title: AV Hardware Technician

Location: Remote role with 90% travel requirements within the USA

Duration: Initially 12 months with a possibility of extension (On W2 only)

Job Responsibilities

1. Manage installation, maintenance, and repair of office technology, including video-conferencing solutions, digital signage, and security systems.
2. Participate in Technology Refresh Initiatives, Documentation, and Knowledge Management.
3. Conduct Site Surveys and Assessments.
4. Install AV equipment, monitors, video conferencing solutions, room booking tablets, and Ethernet cables following client standards.
5. Perform routine maintenance, software updates, hardware checks, and system testing.
6. Troubleshoot and repair AV equipment as needed.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including support, facilities, network, and construction teams.
8. Maintain accurate records using online tools and spreadsheets in compliance with policies.
9. Conduct site surveys to assess AV requirements from construction and QA/QC perspectives.

Must-Have Skills

• Experience with Audio-Visual installations and video conferencing technologies.
• Ability to travel 90% to visit client Data Centers across the US.
• Strong knowledge of Video Conferencing Technology.

Nice-to-have Skills

• Basic understanding of networking.
• Experience with AV manufacturers like Cisco.

Degrees/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree (preferred), CTS, CTSI certifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV installation experience, with understanding of AV systems, video conferencing, and digital signage.
• Experience installing AV/IT hardware in ceilings, working at heights, and collaborating with construction teams.
• Ability to travel extensively across the US (90%).
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AV manufacturers like Cisco, NEC, Biamp, Qsys.
• Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-I.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
