Qualifications

  • Experience researching and recommending network and server hardware and software for large complex networks.
  • Experience implementing and managing network policies, procedures, and standards and enforcing security procedures.
  • Experience monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating hardware and software network problems.
  • Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy, and VLAN Management.
  • Knowledge of installing, designing, configuring, and maintaining system hardware and software.
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and implement network support and archiving procedures.
  • Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification within 60 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

  • Plan the acquisition, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the network components.
  • Resolve interoperability issues across platforms, to support hardware acquisition.
  • Grow your network engineering experience while supporting mission training for the US Army.
