Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Mid Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize local and wide area networks supporting Mission Command Information and Simulation systems. You will translate customer needs into technical specifications and contribute to customer-focused engineering solutions.

Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, planning for growth, and collaborating with clients to deliver secure, scalable networking solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years implementing and managing network policies and security procedures.
• Experience monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting network problems.
• Knowledge of new networking technologies and hardware/software products.
• Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test applications.
• Must have an active Secret clearance; HS diploma or GED.
• IAT Level II Security+ CE certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop network architecture for local and wide area networks.
• Evaluate and modernize client systems to meet mission needs.
• Perform system integration and LAN/WAN support activities.
• Monitor network performance and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
