Qualifications

Experience as Linux/Windows OS Systems Engineer/Administrator.
Experience with HP‑UX, UNIX, Solaris, Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hypervisor, KVM).
Experience applying STIGs and secure configuration standards.
Knowledge of encryption technologies and VPNs; cross‑domain resolution.

Responsibilities

Apply TCP/IP, multicast and UDP across network environments.
Implement DMZ and protective enclaves with firewalls and switches.
Analyze Windows events, Linux logs and dmesg; recommend mitigations.
Collaborate with Navy warfare centers to maintain cyber posture.
Support RMF/ATO planning during system acquisition and configuration.
Contribute to design reviews and write network/code improvement recommendations.
Operate Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows systems in diverse environments.
