Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and tactical networks for the Department of War (DoW). You will build secure, scalable infrastructure and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce RMF controls and ZT protections.

The role focuses on AWS/Azure cloud networking, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible), and cross‑domain connectivity, with opportunities to impact mission readiness and national security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud network engineering in enterprise or government environments.
• Expertise in AWS or Azure cloud networking constructs (VPC, TGW, VNet, routing tables, endpoints, SGs, or NACLs).
• Experience with Layer 3 technologies (BGP, OSPF, static routing).
• Experience with Layer 7 firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, AWS WAF, Azure Firewall).
• DoW 8140/DCWF compliant certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage cloud network infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and government clouds.
• Design and manage Layer 3 routing constructs and service mesh ingress/egress.
• Engineer and maintain Layer 7 firewalling including WAF and NGFW.
• Implement Zero Trust and boundary protection aligned with least-privilege access.
• Develop and maintain IaC for networking (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible).
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on STIGs, RMF controls, and logging pipelines.
