Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Network Engineer to join our team and support emerging threat, training, and readiness capabilities. You will apply your networking expertise to design and implement local and wide-area networks, align with client missions, and help modernize the client’s information systems.

You will work with stakeholders to plan, analyze, and test network solutions, monitor performance, and drive improvements while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience implementing and managing network policies, procedures and standards and enforcing security procedures.
• Experience monitoring, analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating hardware, software, and network problems.
• Knowledge of new technologies related to computer networking and new hardware or software products for system enhancements.
• Ability to meet with clients to plan, analyze, design, and test computer applications to ensure that computer software and applications adhere to the organizational plan.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage network policies and security procedures for client environments.
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software/network issues.
• Plan with clients to design, analyze, and test computer applications aligned with organizational plans.
• Develop and maintain network architectures for local and wide-area networks.
• Support modernization efforts and provide vulnerability assessments.
