Job description

Please note that we will only consider resumes in English.

We are looking for an experienced Mid-Market Account Executive to own the full customer lifecycle: closing high-fit mid-market opportunities, steering onboarding, driving deep platform adoption, retaining accounts, and strategically expanding your book of business over time.

This is a high-impact, hybrid role combining complex consultative SaaS sales, solution architecture, and strategic account management. In mid-market software, handoffs often break momentum and dilute the context built during the evaluation. At Scoop, the Account Executive who architects the deal remains the commercial and strategic owner of the partnership.

Why We Created This Role

Scoop is a highly configurable platform, and our customers’ success depends on deeply understanding how their business operates.

We created the Sales Executive role because we believe the person who helps shape the solution should also help onboard, retain, and grow the account. This creates a better customer experience, stronger accountability, and a more rewarding role for someone who wants broader ownership than a traditional CSM or AE position.

Support You’ll Have

While You Will Have Broad Autonomy And End-to-end Ownership Of Your Accounts, You Are Backed By Dedicated Operational And Technical Infrastructure

  • Qualified opportunities with background and context
  • Sales scripts, discovery guides, proposal materials, FAQs, and objection-handling resources
  • Demo frameworks and solution-design support
  • Regular coaching from your manager/director
  • Leadership support for pricing, renewals, expansion, and unusual commercial terms
  • Product, integration, and reporting specialists for technical customer needs
  • Playbooks covering key meetings, routines, and customer success practices
Responsibilities
Win Mid-Market Customers
  • Work with qualified opportunities generated through inbound, partner, and targeted GTM efforts
  • Run consultative discovery to understand workflows, pain points, and goals
  • Configure and deliver tailored product demos using Scoop’s no-code platform
  • Guide opportunities through follow-up, proposal, negotiation, and closed-won conversion
Onboard & Activate Customers
  • Lead post-sale kickoff and executive alignment to ensure the platform scope matches agreed-upon operational goals.
  • Partner with customer champions to configure core workflows, guide change management, and oversee early user rollout.
  • Track initial milestones closely to shorten time-to-value, mitigate implementation friction, and secure referenceability within the first 90 days
Retain & Grow Your Book
  • Act as the strategic commercial owner for your assigned book of mid-market accounts.
  • Monitor product usage, team adoption, and operational metrics to identify churn risks well ahead of renewal windows.
  • Conduct regular Executive Business Reviews (QBRs) to report on ROI, align on future customer initiatives, and identify expansion opportunities across new teams, sites, or operational use cases.
  • Own end-to-end contract renewals, upsells, and cross-sells to maximize Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
What Success Looks Like

You are successful when:

  • Qualified opportunities become strong-fit customers
  • New customers onboard successfully and reach value quickly
  • Your book of business grows in size and quality
  • Customers remain engaged, successful, and referenceable
  • Retention and expansion outcomes are strong
  • You manage your portfolio with discipline, urgency, and follow-through
Who This Role Suits

This role is a strong fit for:

  • Seasoned Mid-Market & Enterprise AEs who want deeper commercial ownership beyond the initial contract signature.
  • Senior Strategic CSMs / Account Managers with strong quota-carrying backgrounds who excel at complex deal-making and commercial negotiations.
  • Consultative Sellers who thrive in technical, workflow-intensive SaaS environments where domain expertise and business acumen win deals over high-pressure tactics.
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales experience, with a documented track record of selling into mid-market accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to run multi-stakeholder evaluations, build consensus across disparate business units, and close annual/multi-year SaaS contracts.
  • Proven experience in full-lifecycle or hybrid roles—comfortable managing solution design, onboarding governance, and account growth alongside new business hunting.
  • Strong technical aptitude; ability to quickly master and showcase a configurable, workflow-driven SaaS platform.
  • Strategic business acumen: capable of speaking the language of operations, finance, and C-level buyers.
  • High organizational discipline and rigor in pipeline management, CRM accuracy, and customer portfolio tracking.
  • Native or advanced professional fluency in English (written and verbal).

Renewable energy experience is not required. Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn are.

How You Are Paid

The compensation model rewards both new customer growth and long-term customer success. You are paid through:

  • New logo commission on customers you convert to closed-won
  • Quarterly CS/account growth bonus based on the health, retention, and growth of your assigned book of business
  • Competitive monthly contract compensation

Your book grows as you win and retain customers. Unlike roles where you start from zero every month, this model rewards you for building durable customer relationships that continue to create value over time.

Your first year is a building year: you will ramp into the product, sales motion, onboarding process, and portfolio ownership. As your book grows, the customer success/account growth portion of compensation becomes more meaningful.

Why Join Scoop
  • Strong product-market fit in a growing industry
  • Real ownership of the customer journey from first conversation to long-term success
  • A compensation model that rewards both new revenue and durable customer relationships
  • A book of business that can grow with you over time
  • Direct impact on revenue, retention, and customer outcomes
  • A team that values execution, learning, ownership, and long-term thinking
