Atwell, LLC is seeking a mid-level Transmission Line Engineer in the Denver area to lead overhead and underground line design for utility clients. You will own deliverables from feasibility to IFC, model lines with PLS-CADD/POLE/TOWER, and coordinate with substations and civil teams.

Strong client communication and hands-on leadership are essential. The role requires 6–10 years in transmission line engineering, a relevant degree, and PLS-CADD proficiency; PE preferred, EIT required if not

Competenze

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Civil/Structural Engineering.
• PE preferred; EIT required if not licensed.
• Experience with OHTL/UGTL design in consulting settings.
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD/POLE/TOWER for OHTL projects.
• Strong writing and client-facing communication; ability to lead meetings.

Mansioni

• Own TL engineering deliverables from feasibility through IFC for overhead and underground lines.
• Model and analyze lines in PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE/TOWER; generate staking sheets and details.
• Design underground transmission routes, duct banks, and splicing plans with thermal and ampacity considerations.
• Apply NESC/ASCE methods and IEC-based ratings; prepare sealed calculations and specs.
• Coordinate interfaces with substations, civil/structural/geotech teams, and permitting.
• Support construction with RFIs, reviews, and energization activities.
