Job summary

i3 is seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer/Analyst to join a well-established team in an AVMC lab that supports the development, test, and fielding of a tactical missile defense system. The selected candidate will work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software and hardware, and digital representations of complex missile defense systems.

The role includes analysis tool design and development, and complex analysis on system and/or algorithm performance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience.
• Direct operational or test experience with IBCS required.
• Proficient in data manipulation, analysis, visualization, signal/data processing, and electromagnetics using MATLAB or similar tools.
• Ability to develop reports/briefings explaining complex system behaviors; travel up to 10%; active secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document results of test cases in software and hardware test reports.
• Develop and maintain test cases to support software and system integration.
• Support a broad range of projects including performance analysis, modeling and simulation, post-flight reconstruction, and risk reduction.
• Apply engineering principles across system engineering concepts and methods.
• Communicate findings to a broad audience with clear recommendations.
