Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney in New York to join a top AmLaw 50 firm's expanding structured finance practice. The role focuses on sophisticated CLO transactions and cross-border financings.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, NY bar, 3–5 years of CLO experience, and strong drafting and negotiation skills. Prior large-firm experience is preferred; you will draft loan documents and collaborate on multi-jurisdictional matters.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York.
• 3–5 years of substantive experience representing investment banks and/or asset managers in structuring and documenting collateralized loan obligation transactions.
• Demonstrated experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities.
• Prior experience at a large law firm is strongly preferred.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated credit facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related transactional materials.
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence, and oversee all aspects of deal execution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement deal strategies.
• Work closely with cross-office teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
