Our client, an AmLaw 50 international law firm, seeks a Structured Credit & Collateralized Loan Obligations Associate Attorney to join its Global Finance group in New York and other major U.S. markets.

The role emphasizes CLOs, private credit, and sophisticated structuring for global asset managers and underwriters. Ideal candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school and NY bar admission, with 3+ years in securitization or transactional CLO work, and experience from a large law firm.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the State of New York.
• 3+ years of substantive securitization and structured finance experience, or transactional experience with CLOs.
• Prior experience with private credit, CLOs, fund finance, NAV-based facilities, or subscription line credit facilities preferred but not required.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise on structured finance and securitization matters, focusing on CLOs.
• Represent asset managers, investors, and underwriters in structuring and executing complex transactions.
• Collaborate with a global team to provide cutting-edge legal services in structured finance and capital markets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while advising on innovative financing solutions.
