Software Placement Group seeks a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney in New York to join its expanding structured finance practice. You will represent lenders in sophisticated financing deals, draft loan documents, and oversee due diligence and deal execution with cross-office teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ CLO experience, a NY Bar, and a strong JD from a top law school. A fast-paced environment and a collaborative, high-performing team characterize this role.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with strong academics.
• Active Bar Admission in New York.
• 3–5 years’ experience with investment banks or asset managers in CLO transactions.
• Experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated facilities.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders in a broad range of financing transactions, including acquisition financings and syndicated credit facilities.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related transactional materials.
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence, and oversee all aspects of deal execution.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop and implement deal strategies.
• Work closely with cross-office teams on multi-jurisdictional matters.
