Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking Software Developers to support the modernization of the DISA GCCS-J FoS. You will work on multiple projects in a dynamic, user-focused environment collaborating with users, customers and fellow developers.

Initial work includes legacy platform support, building knowledge of the product, and gradually moving to full-stack development, CI/CD, containerization, and rapid deployment capabilities. You will also perform unit testing and contribute to software documentation.

Qualifications

• Java programming and industry-accepted constructs such as concurrency and unit testing.
• Experience with JavaScript UX frameworks (Angular, Vue/React).
• Linux and Windows system administration skills.
• Source code management tools: CVS, Subversion, git.
• Cross-platform data exchange between Windows and Unix/Linux.
• Kubernetes, virtual machines and microservice architectures exposure.
• Familiarity with DevOps, automated container deployment and performance testing.

TrustedQA, Inc. is currently seeking SoftwareDevelopers to support the modernization of the DISA Global Command and Control Systems – Joint (GCCS-J) Family of Systems (FoS). The selected team member’s will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers on various Command and Control Systems.

In this position, you will support full life cycleproduct development on a variety of architectures and target hardware platforms. Selected individuals will likely begin working on the legacy platforms to a) build their knowledge of the product and b) to help identify your areas of interest/strengths. As you become more integrated into the teams you will begin shifting to the full-stack development, CI/CD, containerization, rapid deployment capabilities modernization efforts. Additionally, you will perform Unit Testing and contribute to the development of software documentation.

We are interested in speaking to candidates with a combination of the following:

• Java programming and industry accepted programming constructs/practices (e.g., thread pools, abstract class implementations, unit testing, concurrency)
• Experience withJavaScript UX Frameworks (e.g. Angular, ViewJS, React, etc.)
• Linux and Windows System Administration skills
• Source code management tools (e.g., CVS, Subversion, git)
• Cross-platform management (Windows and Unix/Linux data exchange)
• Virtual machine environments,Kubernetes, andMicro Service Architectures
• Understanding of test-driven software development
• Familiarity with:DevOps, automated container deployment, running performance tests and debugging techniques, net-centric technologies, or database design/structures and associated orchestration tools and techniques

Salary: $87,000 - $120,000

**This is our anticipated salary range, candidates may be considered outside of this band with certain qualifications.
