A national law firm is seeking a commercially minded Real Estate Associate (3–5 years PQE) with a strong leasing and acquisitions background to join its busy New York office. This is an opportunity to support a major national client in a fast‑paced, high‑volume transactional environment.

About The Role

Work directly with a high‑profile retail and industrial real estate client, handling a broad range of matters including ground leases, acquisitions, leasing, and development‑related transactions. The position offers hands‑on deal exposure and long‑term client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate retail, office, and industrial leases (including ground leases)
• Lead acquisitions and development projects across national markets
• Conduct due diligence and oversee title/survey, environmental, and zoning matters
• Manage client expectations and communications on high‑volume transactions
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional legal team including zoning, land use, and permitting specialists

Who You Are

• 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience with strong leasing and acquisitions exposure

Compensation
