Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Modeling and Simulation Analyst, Mid-Level to support MDA programs. You will analyze HWIL- simulation data for Ground Test events, CDI efforts, and Flight Tests, using Python on Linux within OSF-based workflows.

Ideal candidate has 3–10 years of relevant experience, familiarity with OSF/HWIL architectures, and data visualization skills (Grafana/Tableau/Power BI). Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace), Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 3-10 years of demonstrated relevant experience.
• Familiarity with MDA Ground Test CONOPS.
• Familiarity with OSF.
• Knowledge of HWIL architecture infrastructure truth presentation to element models (SMHR, signatures, environment).
• Knowledge of HWIL architecture infrastructure, including DIS adapter and GTISS adapter.
• Experience with data analysis libraries in Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Grafana, Tableau, Power BI).
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S framework analysis support for CDI activities, GT events, and Flight Tests.
• Analyze status of current and future capabilities in OSF.
• Review test data to detect and troubleshoot simulation performance and accuracy issues.
• Ensure event data quality and integrity via verification and validation analysis.
• Develop and run Python tools to support M&S analysis activities.
• Document and communicate analysis results across interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to ensure successful test simulation campaigns.
