Job summary

SimTech, Inc. in Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Software Integration Engineer, Mid/Senior-Level, to join a dynamic team supporting MDA HWIL environments and DoD partnerships.

The role includes integrating, testing, and operating HWIL simulations, installing OSF systems, analyzing performance, and documenting results for test events. Some travel and security clearance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of related technical experience.
• Familiarity with containerized applications in a cloud-based environment and OSF or similar tools.
• Experience with DoD programs or defense systems is preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret (TS preferred) security clearance and ability to maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support integration, testing, and operation of HWIL simulation environments for ground and flight tests.
• Install, configure, and test OSF systems per program requirements.
• Analyze HWIL architecture performance and resolve hardware/software integration issues.
• Evaluate network traffic and ensure secure, reliable connections.
• Document configurations, procedures, and results; generate reports for test events.
