Job summary

ISSAC is seeking a highly motivated Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in assessing the capabilities of the Missile Defense System (MDS). This role involves HWIL data and OSF-based simulation frameworks for GT events, CDI activities, and flight tests.

You will develop Python tools, analyze test data, verify data integrity, and communicate results across engineering teams while coordinating with government and contractor staff.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Python scripting language.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to work in a team and multi-task in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S framework analysis support for CDI activities, GT events, and Flight Tests.
• Perform analysis on the status of current and future capabilities in OSF.
• Review test data to detect and troubleshoot issues related to simulation performance and accuracy.
• Ensure event data quality and integrity through verification and validation analysis of test data.
• Develop and run Python tools to support M&S analysis activities.
• Document and communicate analysis results across interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with teams of analysts and engineers to ensure successful execution of test simulation campaigns.
