Job summary

Cosentini Associates, a Tetra Tech company, in New York is seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team. You will perform complex mechanical building design on projects including hospitals, laboratories, and high-rise offices, using AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualified candidates hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering; 3–7 years of HVAC design experience; proficient with Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit. NY PE preferred or EIT with intent to pursue PE. LEED AP BD+C preferred. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of HVAC design experience for commercial, institutional, residential, and healthcare facilities.
• Proficient with Trace 700, AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical building design on projects including hospitals, laboratories, and high-rise offices.
• Incorporate design changes using AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
• Assist with design load calculations, equipment selections and mechanical system design.
• Provide credit documentation for LEED and other rating systems.
