Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project in Washington, DC seeks a Mid-Level Giving Associate Director to lead mid-level donors ($5,000–$24,999), drive revenue, and coordinate moves-management and segmentation with cross-functional teams. Strong donor engagement and Salesforce use are essential.

The role partners with Major Gifts and Donor Stewardship to deliver a coordinated donor experience within a mission-driven organization committed to veterans and their families.

Qualifications

• Seven years of fundraising or sales experience.
• Five years of mid-level donor cultivation, including stewardship or giving programs.
• Three years of staff management in a fundraising context.
• Bachelor-level degree as listed in Education section.

Responsibilities

• Establish donor qualification criteria and moves-management for mid-level donors ($5,000–$24,999).
• Oversee donor segmentation, engagement tracking, and progression strategies.
• Develop strategies to expand the mid-level giving program and frontline fundraising integration.
• Lead and develop the mid-level giving team; ensure program effectiveness.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate ROI for the program.
• Maintain donor relationships to strengthen retention and upgrades.
