Job summary

New York Public Radio is seeking a Mid-Level Giving Associate to support donor engagement and stewardship within a growing mid-level program. You will help thank donors, respond to inquiries, and assist with events, renewals, and multi-channel communications.

Reporting to the Director of Mid-Level Giving and collaborating with the Development Team, you will gain exposure to donor strategies, data operations, and campaigns while contributing to revenue growth and a donor-centered experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in fundraising, development operations, administration, or a customer-facing role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel (including pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with email systems and digital communications is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, warm, and donor-centered approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Donor Engagement & Stewardship Support: Support acknowledgments, respond to donor inquiries, and assist with donor events.
• Program & Campaign Support: Provide logistical support for mid-level giving campaigns and multi-channel communications scheduling.
• Partner with Development Operations: Run basic reports, track expenses, and assist with invoice processing.
• Professional Growth & Learning: Develop understanding of donor strategies and contribute ideas to improve systems and processes.
