Job summary

The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri is seeking a Development Manager to lead our mid-level giving program, enhancing recurring donor engagement and increasing support in the $1,000–$4,999 range. You will partner with the Director of Individual Giving and CDO to drive fundraising strategies and donor stewardship across our network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of fundraising and development experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer literacy; ability to learn software and database programs.
• Experience in public speaking.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute an individual mid-level giving program with emphasis on recurring donors and gifts $1,000–$4,999.
• Manage portfolio of donors, monthly donors, and passive major gift donors.
• Solicit gifts and nurture donor relationships to increase support.
• Document interactions in donor database and develop dashboards for mid-level giving.
• Collaborate with Development team on proposals, letters, and stewardship reports.
• Represent the department to donors and the public through various communications.
