Job summary

Staffbase is hiring a Fullstack Engineer for the Actions team. You will build core infrastructure powering the plugin platform, including a reusable UI component library, connection layers to HR systems, and a secure, scalable extension framework.

You’ll ship plugins and help ensure safe, scalable integrations across 1,500+ customers. You’ll work on cross‑integration auth, multi‑tenant security, and API integration with services like Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft, expanding Staffbase’s

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of React and TypeScript for frontend work; backend experience in Java/Kotlin or Go.
• Experience integrating third‑party APIs with challenging auth and legacy/on‑prem systems.
• Deep understanding of multi‑tenancy security and data isolation.
• Good judgment on what to standardize vs. keep flexible.

Responsibilities

• Build a UI component library that apps can assemble from to create reusable pieces.
• Create the connection layer between generated apps and customer source systems (HR platforms, time-tracking, scheduling, APIs).
• Define extension points (widgets, menus, sidebars) for plugin declarations in a single configuration.
• Design and implement cross‑integration authentication so multiple integrations run without repeated logins.
• Ship plugins on the platform, acting as a consumer to catch gaps early.
