Job Title: Mid-Level Front End Developer

Maximus is seeking a Mid-Level Front End Developer to join our team. The role involves providing subject matter expertise in front-end development, supporting process improvements, and defining requirements. Key duties include analysis, planning, requirements documentation, building functional models, developing procedures and architectures, and other related technical and management tasks.

The candidate will perform engineering tasks related to front-end design and development, including creating design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and documentation for review, planning and implementing GUI modifications, optimizing UI elements, enhancing system navigation, and improving user experience for feature development.

This position is contingent upon contract award. While it may be performed remotely, occasional paid travel to client sites in San Antonio, Texas, or Baltimore, Maryland, may be required.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of software development experience in object-oriented and scripting languages, with familiarity in DevSecOps, microservices, and containers.
• 3 years of recent experience in front-end web design and development.
• Experience in system testing, documentation, and verification of system operability and compliance.
• Experience with agile, user-centric application design ensuring high UI/UX standards.
• Proficiency in generating wireframes and mockups considering multiple user personas.
• Experience with UX design tools like Sketch and InVision.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software such as Jira.
• Experience testing web applications for 3 years.
• 3 years of leading software development projects.
• Practical experience developing in cloud environments.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software in an Agile environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience integrating into DoD DevSecOps environments.
