Our client is seeking a Software Developer for a contract-to-hire, remote role (must be able to work on Eastern Time).

Within the Xcenda business unit, the software developer's main responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet user and stakeholder needs. Developers troubleshoot and debug issues and document their work. They collaborate with a team of developers and related functions to deliver high-quality software.

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experience with:
• Development in Blazor, Razor, C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and MS SQL Server
• Object-oriented programming
• Integrating third-party components/libraries such as MudBlazor and Aspose
• Database design, stored procedures, queries, SQL functions, ORM frameworks
• Design patterns and data structures
• Managing Web APIs for client-server communication
• Developing reusable libraries and components
• Creating cross-browser, responsive Single Page Applications
• Ability to implement efficient coding practices and adapt to new platforms and tools
• Ability to work independently, perform code reviews, and adhere to standards
• Additional assets include experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, Web Services, MVC, AngularJS, modular design, SQL performance optimization, Azure cloud services, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure DevOps
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training
• 5+ years of software development experience
• MS Azure certifications are a plus
