Job summary

ITT Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Product Design Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in MIL-Circular connectors to join the ITT Cannon Connectors NA team.

You will handle engineering design, BOMs, and component specifications to support multi-project pipelines. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, CREO Parametric, GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5), and strong communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Electro-Mechanical product design, preferably in connectors.
• CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/Documentation experience.
• ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including GD&T.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different departments.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...

Responsibilities

• General engineering product setup, design and management
• Engineering BOM creation, documentation creation and updates
• Design of new components and assemblies
• Manage and plan multiple activities related to Engineering, Product Management and Operational support
• Multi-functional team member representing Product Engineering
• Testing support and overview within a Product Evaluation Lab
