Job summary

ITT Cannon Connectors N.A. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Product Design Engineer with mid-level experience in the Mil-Circular connector industry to join the ITT Cannon Connectors N.A. team.

The role focuses on design, documentation, and supporting product engineering across multiple activities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a Mechanical Engineering degree, 3–5 years of connector design experience, Creo 3D modeling proficiency, and strong GD&T skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Electro-Mechanical product design, preferably in connectors
• CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/Documentation experience
• ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including GD&T
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Highly self-motivated and a willingness to make a difference and learn
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different departments.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...

Responsibilities

• General engineering product setup, design and management
• Engineering BOM creation, documentation creation and updates
• Design of new components and assemblies
• Manage and plan multiple activities related to Engineering, Product Management and Operational support
• Multi-functional team member representing Product Engineering
• Testing support and overview within a Product Evaluation Lab
