Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience in Mil/Aero high-speed and/or filter connector design.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, NX).
• Proficiency using high-speed test equipment (network analyzer, Fluke DSX).
• Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (Ethernet, USB, HDMI, etc.) and mil/aero connectors.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing high-speed and filtered connectors and contacts per requirements.
• Create designs when opportunities arise.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings per electrical/mechanical/environmental needs.
• Learn HFSS simulations for signal integrity.
• Design PCBs and test adapters for signal integrity evaluation.
• Prepare and release manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
• Initiate and support ECNs and material dispositions.
• Support production with manufacturing/supplier/quality issues for fiber optic interconnects.
• Develop qualification test plans.
• Create engineering BOMs and documentation.
• Provide product testing/qualification support in Evaluation Lab.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
