Job summary

ITT Cannon, LLC is seeking a Product Design Engineer I NPD, Electrical in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on modifying existing high-speed and filtered connectors, creating 3D models and drawings, and supporting cost estimates for quotes.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve production issues and with Product Management for evaluation and BOM creation. A strong foundation in electrical engineering and CAD is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–3 years in Mil/Aero high-speed or filter connector design.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and test equipment.
• Knowledge of electromagnetic theory and circuit behavior.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing high-speed and filtered connectors to meet requirements.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings for new or updated designs.
• Prepare BOMs and manufacturing drawings; support ECNs.
• Assist in design verification with HFSS simulations and tests.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Product Management.
