Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in New Stanton, Pennsylvania.

You will work a first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekends off, and enjoy weekly pay plus robust benefits and bonuses. The role includes diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty vehicles, access to state-of-the-art diagnostics, and opportunities for career advancement in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive gas/diesel engines including routine preventative maintenance and basic diagnostics.
• Three or more years relevant work experience preferred.
• CDL CLASS A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Completes complex inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Mentors Tech 1 and Tech 2 levels as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety, DOT, and MOT guidelines.
