Ryder System, Inc. in Obetz, Ohio is seeking a Mid-Level Diesel Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles on second shift (3:00 pm–11:30 pm), Tuesday–Saturday. Earn $27.50/hour with a strong benefits package and a clear path for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake and tire work.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer when applicable.
• Identify root causes and perform required repairs.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Utilize Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
