Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification (Post Secondary) preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Two+ years of classroom training and/or work experience preferred.
• Valid CDL CLASS A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs inspections and repairs of components.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment.
• Identifies root cause and performs repairs as required.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of the issue.
• Uses Shop Management System and documentation.
• Ensures compliance with safety and DOT/MOT guidelines.
