The position features a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift, weekends off, and potential certification bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification post secondary degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Basic tools are required.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties.
• Performs standard vehicle maintenance.
• Performs standard component inspections and repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance.
• Diagnoses mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic equipment when applicable.
• Identifies root causes of basic failures and performs repairs.
• Replaces defective components as instructed.
• Interacts with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Uses Shop Management System and electronic documentation.
• Adheres to safety, DOT, MOT and corporate guidelines.
• Performs other support duties as required.
